Getting Started

We’ll start by getting an overview of your project, priorities, style, budget, desired timeline and how you wish to use your space(s). Next we’ll meet for a face-to-face meet and greet. This allows us to get to know one another and further define the details of the project. We’ll inventory your existing furnishings, photograph & measure target spaces, to ensure we can get an accurate assessment for your project.

Design Development

Now the real fun begins! New space plans, furniture plans, color palettes, and interior finishes such as paint, wall coverings, flooring, ceiling and window treatments, cabinetry, countertops, custom furniture or built-in pieces, structural modifications, and unique features for your project are designed and sketched for presentation. Designers will stay in touch with you or your contractor on any questions to ensure efficient use of time and creativity. Then we’ll meet to collaborate!

Refining

With your feedback, the team refines the selections, floor plans, construction details, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, etc. or any additional selections or product specifications. These important details will be finalized through the next few meetings and coordinated with vendors and contractors to assure a cohesive adherence to budget, schedule, and overall design plan.

Procurement & Construction Coordination

All of those pieces you loved and approved are paid for and procured. We submit purchase orders for all your interior finishes, and furnishings, and follow up with vendors as needed. We coordinate delivery, receive and inspect those items and handle any replacement issues prior to delivery to your home — all included as part of our turn-key, high-end interior design services. For new construction or remodel jobs, or custom pieces, we create design drawings, document all project specs into specification spreadsheets and provide to your contractor for the build-out.
As the pieces come together, we oversee build-out and installation to make sure work is progressing on schedule and to plan. We communicate with you weekly to keep you informed on progress and address any concerns along the way

Installation

Time for the big reveal! All the pieces are put into place, the window treatments hung, the custom furnishings placed, beds fluffed, all areas look better than imagined, and …REVEAL! It’s time for you to enjoy the fruits of our collaborative labor. The final punch list is created for any final missing pieces or tweaks which need our attention.

Wrapping Up

Now that everything’s in its place, and you’ve had a chance to live in your space(s) we’ll do one final walk through to make sure everything exceeds your expectations. We’ll discuss the care and maintenance of your finishes, furnishings, and specialty equipment, so you can enjoy and maintain their just-new appearance for years to come… and this project is complete!
