Northwest Austin

Project Description

Everything old is new again in this uniquely personal soft, traditional design. Upgrading to a new, larger dream home, the clients wanted to use their existing furniture, all of which needed updating for their family’s changing lifestyle. The challenge was to fluidly incorporate favorite furnishings with new pieces into a modernized, softer, traditional design. To create a regal, yet serene Living Area and Master Retreat, subtle and sophisticated palettes, rich fabrics and textures, and whimsical touches, boldly transition the traditional style to deliver sensual elegance.

Testimonials

"Amanda and her team provided excellent, knowledgeable service to the large project for which she was hired. We moved into a brand new home, which was much larger than our previous home and we wanted mostly new furniture and accessories. From the very beginning, great attention was paid to detail and to our desires to make our home beautiful and comfortable. The pieces that we wanted re-upholstered or re-purposed received immediate attention with selecting fabrics, ordering fabrics and getting the pieces to the appropriate vendor. The final result on all of them is wonderful. Special attention was paid to the new pieces we wanted as well. Measurements were taken and retaken to make sure that the selections would be a good fit for the particular area. We have a variety of window treatments in our home that are beautiful and always receive admiration from people.Amanda is a warm and friendly individual and that comes through in her design experience and the outcome of the project. Amanda and her team are prompt for scheduled meetings and prepared for the meetings with samples, pricing and estimated date of completion for each project. We started this project in March, 2013 and we have an absolutely gorgeous home and are so proud of our home and because of the large scope of the project, we are putting on the finishing touches for now.I highly recommend Amanda Stephenson and her team at Gingerwood."
